1. What telephone number do I call for
mail service pharmacy related
questions?
As of March 1, 2007 you can call Benecard's new mail service pharmacy
number toll-free at 800-895-8066 where
representatives are available:
Monday through
Friday, 8 AM to 11 PM Eastern Standard Time
Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern
Standard Time
2. Will I need to get a new prescription
to send to the new mail service
pharmacy?
If you have refills remaining on any
prescription you have received from the
current mail service pharmacy as of
February 28th, 2007, you will not need a
new prescription from your physician for
those remaining refills.
Your existing refills
will be transferred over to the new mail
service vendor as of March 1, 2007. The
exceptions are narcotics and compounds
which will need new prescriptions.
If you have no refills left on your mail
service prescriptions as of February 28th,
2007, you will need to obtain a new
prescription from your physician and send it
to Caremark along with the enclosed order
form in the self-addressed envelope.

3. How do I order a refill for my prescription(s)?

You can refill a prescription through the new
mail service pharmacy by either calling
Caremark toll-free at 800-895-8066, or via
the internet by registering on www.caremark.com and following the
prompts for ordering refills.
You can also
call the Caremark toll-free number and
speak to a representative who can place
your refill order. When you place your refill
order via telephone, on the internet or
through a Caremark representative, when
prompted please enter the Rx Number as it
appears on your most recent refill from Walgreens Mail Service.
4. Will I need a new prescription ID card?

No, you will not need to obtain a new
prescription ID card and new cards will not
be issued.
5. Will Caremark notify me when they
receive my prescription and when it will
be shipped?

If you are a registered user on
www.caremark.com you will receive an
email notification that you have a message
in your on-line Caremark mailbox account.
The message will alert you to the status of
your prescription.
6. Where can my physician fax a new
prescription to? [back to top]
If you need to have your prescription
expedited to Caremark, your physician can
call Caremark directly at 877-727-7455.
