Effective July 1, 2010, Aetna will be the new medical carrier for the Cinnamisnon Board of Education. The plan will be administered under the Southern New Jersey Employee Benefit Fund (SNJEBF). Please begin using your new member ID cards, effective 7/1/2010.
Your medical benefits will match the same benefits you had under your previous Aetna plans (before changing to AmeriHealth). There will be three plans to choose from:
Vision Benefits- Routine Eye Exams and Vision Eyewear are covered under your Aetna medical plan when visiting a participating Aetna provider. For applicable copays and coverage amounts, please refer to the benefit summary for your plan, listed above. Aetna also provides a Vision Discount Program, that provides members with discounts on vision hardware (glasses, lenses, etc.) when visiting a participating provider. You will need to pick a Primary Care Physician. Primary Care Physicians can be located on the Aetna website at www.aetna.com. Click on the "Find A Doctor" link from the main page on the left hand side. Under plan selection, select QPOS. Search results will provide you with the listing of PCP's for the selected area and their provider ID number.
Aetna Navigator
The Aetna Navigator allows you to access your personal benefits information. A few of the features include:

Print temporary ID card

Check the status of a medical claim.

Change your Primary Care Physician.

Review the Aetna Benefit Booklet specific to your group.
If you were registered for the Aetna Navigator before, your user name and password remain the same. If you haven't already registered, it's easy to sign up. Log into https://www.aetna.com and click on register under Member Log-In. After you register, under "Select From Your Memberships and Programs" choose the SNJ Regional Employee Benefit Fund. (Please note- you will see an option for Cinnaminson Board of Education. This is your previous Aetna plan).
